Handy to know Before Booking
- Standard boarding time on Day One of your charter is 9.00 AM
- Standard disembarkation is 5.00 PM on your last day, coming in via the fuel wharf at 3.00 PM
- Board Early Upgrades are available - Allowing you to board at 5:00 pm the day before your original booking, giving you time to settle in and get to know your boat - Contact our office for more information
- Late Finish Upgrades are available - There is no need to rush off after refuelling, simply upgrade your trip to include this extra night on board, now disembarking at 9:00 am the day after returning to the marina; Again, please contact our office for more information
- Bare-Boat charter conditions apply with ALL CREW subject to a briefing and sail guide instruction before approval for departure. Allow a minimum 4 hours for an experienced crew and 5+ hours for a crew with no experience on day 1 of your booking
- Boat licence and experience preferred; but not compulsory
- Sail Guides available for the duration of your trip if you do not wish to do this on your own
- Additional Sail Training on day one outside of your 'standard maritime briefing' is available and recommended for novices – discuss terms with our office
- Vessel Options - Lagoon 420's, 410 and Lagoon 380 Sailing Catamarans
- A security bond will be held for the duration of your charter in your name to the value of the insurance excess on the vessel (IE: $3000.00). This is returned to you in full within 7 days of the end of your charter if the boat is returned in the condition you found it at the commencement of your charter - You can reduce the security bond by paying an Insurance Excess Reduction.
- All pricing is per sailing day, not per night - IE: A 10 day (9 night sailing adventure starts at 9:00 am on Day One and concludes at 5:00 pm on Day 10)
- Strict postponement and cancellation terms apply to any BNPN promotional offers and these are detailed in your Welcome Letter and Hire Agreement
- Our office is a boat, or an island, or an anchorage, or a bean bag, or a deck chair - Our team will meet you at the designated time, to help with your boarding, luggage and provisions.
- Personal TRAVEL INSURANCE covering the costs of your booking in line with your Welcome Letter and Hire Agreement is HIGHLY Recommended for any adventure activity, protecting you from any unforeseen event that may occur prior to, or during your charter. Whilst the choice is entirely yours, Travel Insurance is a cheap option that protects your travel booking until your holiday has been completed with us in paradise.
*Air conditioning on PORTLAND ROADS and LUCY is available at all times when at Abell Point Marina or Hamilton Island - Air conditioning can be used on demand at sea, however night time use of the generator to power the air conditioning may create inappropriate noise levels for guests on board. Each cabin has fans and opening hatches for natural cooling when out at sea
