Long before the explorers from Egypt, Asia, Holland, England, Portugal or France
THIS WAS THE WATERWAYS AND THE
Ancient Home of the NGARO
the Yuwibara, Koinmerburra, Barada Barna, Wiri, Gia and Juru
With their blessing You are WELCOME
Welcome to come and Sail in these ancient Tribal waters
Tribal waters that fed the Ngaro without waste,
without pollution and with a connection to the sea and the land
that has long been lost
It is our mission to tell their story
And to return the land and the sea to a self sustaining state
Where the Eco System can once again grow wings
and wrap itself in life
It is incumbent on us to do so
For anywhere up to 125,000 years
The Indigenous seafarers preserved this wilderness
And then in the blink of an eye
In ONLY 200 years
we have sadly created an unhealthy cycle
of excess, waste and pollution
We hope you can join us in our quest
Welcome to the Whitsundays
Welcome to the lands and the seas of the NGARO
